Student officers and drum majors host the anual Ice Cream Social in order to introduce new band members to each other.

Students gather at a local gas station to wash cars and raise money.

Student officers, section leaders and other students help out with closet set-up and preparing folders and drill charts for the band members. Mr. Holder explains how the field will be marked to match better with the drill charts, as Mr. Luley and student officers paint the practice field.

The drumline practices marching and playing, plays exercises to practice stick control and practices their show tunes. Base line has a sectional with their instructor James, and base player Brian gets fed up with a difficult part. The drumline also practices their drum cadence while on the practice field.

The color guard practices inside the school the first few days, learning their new routines.
